Gearbox Software's boss Randy Pitchford has left some clue that might suggest to an imminent announcement of Borderlands 3 , at least according to his reply to a question from a fan during the PAX South American event, currently underway. The question of the fan on the possible announcement of the third installment of the franchise, Pitchford replied: " If you return to the always on Sunday here at PAX, you might discover something even more on this topic ".

Pitchford was referring to the event " Inside Gearbox Software " to be held tomorrow at 19:30 (Italian time) at PAX South, whose description says: " This is your chance to learn about the latest news concerning the world of Borderlands and our upcoming games. We have a few surprises and announcements about new titles, so don't miss it! "
