Sony announced today that Minecraft: Story Mode will be available on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 Tuesday, October 13. Each episode will be sold individually on the PlayStation Store , or we can buy season pass to get episodes 1-5 when they come out. An Edition to be released on disk stores along with the first episode, and will give you access to the following four episodes will be available for download as updates online. In Minecraft: Story Mode, you play with a male or female character named ' Jesse ' and embark on a dangerous adventure through the Overworld, the Underworld, the End and beyond. You and your friends revered the legendary order of the stone: the Warrior, the engineer of Red stone, the provocateur, and architect; Ender's dragon killers.

While the EnderCon are hoping to meet Gabriel Warrior, Jesse's friends discover that something is wrong ... something bad. Terror breaks and you have to go on a mission to find the order of the stone if you want to save the world from destruction.

We have worked closely with the guys at Mojang to ensure that Minecraft: Story Mode is an integral part of the world that Minecraft players know and love, with a cinematic storyline and gameplay based on Telltale choices.

We know how important the customization for creative minds playing Minecraft, so we place special attention in implementing this aspect in Minecraft: Story Mode. This is Telltale's first game in which you can choose the appearance of the player character. Not only can you play with a male or female version of Jesse, but you can also choose between three different aspects of each.

We also tried to insert some famous voice in this first season. The male is portrayed by Jesse Patton Oswalt (you can recognize his voice in Ratatouille and Agents of s.h.i.e.l.d), while the female version is voiced by Catherine Taber (was in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Marvel Heroes).

During the season will appear also Brian Posehn, Ashley Johnson, Scott Porter, Martha Plimpton, Dave Fennoy, Corey Feldman, Billy West and Paul Reubens ... and more! We couldn't be more excited to work with a group of actors so great.
