During the same stream in which SEGA has announced Sonic Mania, the Japanese company has also revealed the development of what is now tentatively titled Project Sonic 2017 , new video game dedicated to the famous blue hedgehog due out at the end of 2017 for Xbox One PS4.

The company has not released any information on the matter, limiting itself only to declare that it is a title that will introduce "a whole new experience" for the saga.
