Voofoo Studios announced that the racing game Mantis Burn Racing will be released on PlayStation 4 [/xbox] [xbox] Xbox One on 12 October. Mantis Burn Racing is an arcade racing game with overhead camera featuring an amazing graphics, an extensive single-player career mode and a structured system of improvement of the GdR-style vehicle.

To follow all game details released by Sean Walsh, head of marketing for VooFoo Studios.

We started working on this account about 18 months ago, armed with a passion for classic racing games with overhead and determined to create an experience that he added something new to the genre. We tried to do it by introducing improvements that would really look great.

We wanted that Mantis Burn Racing was a racing game with overhead camera funny to play with friends, so we implemented a four-player split-screen mode. We have collected the opinions of players at events like the PAX West, the Gamescom and the EGX and figured that this is missing from many fans of the genre, so we're happy to put it back alongside online multiplayer mode that supports up to eight players.

Although Mantis Burn Racing is a Racing game in arcade style, we decided to use the so-called "fun Physics" to add some realism to the maneuvering of vehicles, providing unique features in each of the three classes in the game. The lightweight buggy have great acceleration and are more agile, the road cars from the average weight have better traction and are more versatile, and the mighty six-wheel trucks are durable and heavy and are capable of destroying barriers to create useful shortcuts.

With so many different vehicles darting side by side, the races are hectic and competitive; from the sand dunes of sunny Sand Town to red-hot asphalt of New Shangri-La.

A unique feature of our game is the progression system. You gain experience points by competing in all modes, including single-player Career by 20 hours. These points will be used to unlock aesthetic improvements and upgrades for your racing vehicles, to be included in an inventory slot-style Rpg.

Each vehicle has up to 18 slots of personalization that allow you to install upgrades for suspension, reports, motor, tires and turbo. You will then have the chance to experience thousands of possible variations to choose the vehicle that best suits your riding style.

We want Mantis Burn Racing test every aspect of your driving skills, so you can choose from nine different occasions including Knockout, Accumulator, Overtake and Time Trial, where you can either play in single player mode, and online.

We announce also that the game will support 4 k resolution at 60 FPS on PlayStation Pro high-definition racing! Have not been announced many games (maybe not even one?) that support this possibility, until now.

We thank you for your attention, we hope you will be looking forward to the release of the game and we look forward to seeing you compete on our tracked by 12 October!

We leave you with a set of images from the game: enjoy!
