A trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda invites us to explore the stars

In view of the revelation of the game that will take place on 7 November, EA and BioWare have today released a teaser trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda that reveals when the game will be set in time: at the beginning of the era of space exploration on the part of humanity.

In fact, the movie shows us the moon with the Apollo LEM and form in the footsteps of the first astronauts, while a background voice says:

" This journey began long ago. A path traced in human history, which took us across continents, oceans and finally to the stars. This planet is our home. Has protected us, challenged and provided the necessary tools to become citizens of the Galaxy.

But now is the time to prepare for a future beyond the milky way. A future that will only start between 600 years. In another place, between star unknown and unforeseeable risks. We appeal to the spirits brave, the curious, the true innovators of the human species. We invite you to continue the work accomplished by our predecessors, pointing to even more ambitious goals.

The journey begins. Join the Initiative Andromeda today. "

These words make us then understand that the game will be set at the beginning of "Andromeda Initiative", apparently one of the first missions of space exploration by humans. All this gives the game a strong feeling to Star Trek, and the final Roundup, with the two characters in spacesuits and spacecraft under construction above them, only reinforces that feeling.

That it is indeed a prequel that recounts the beginnings of space exploration in the world of Mass Effect? We'll find out in less than a week: stay tuned!
