Insomniac Games has released some new information that they explain the various improvements that Ratchet & Clank will show on PS4 Pro. If you own a TV, you can enjoy playing Ratchet & Clank to a much higher resolution and, if your monitor supports it, in HDR. Even users of PS4 Pro with 1080 p TV will notice a cleaner image.

The technique that the developer is using to obtain higher resolution was renamed " temporal injection ". Allows not only to achieve a much greater definition, but to do so with the addition of an anti-aliasing filter which eliminates jaggies. Highest resolution and HDR's ability to do justice to the Solana Galaxy riot of colors will help to create the greatest Visual spectacle ever offered by a game in the series of Ratchet & Clank .

These improvements will be introduced through a free software update that will allow the game to take advantage of the additional power of PS4 Pro. The patch should be available prior to the release date of PS4 Pro.

Also, the patch will introduce in Ratchet & Clank HDR support even for those who use a standard or Slim, PS4 PS4 provided you have a TV that is compatible with this feature.
