A few days ago took place the fair PAX East , where Frontier showed all the things to come for his space Simulator Elite: Dangerous . The next DLC, named " The Commander " will add a host of new features, such as the ability to create a Crew made up of three players, and a versatile character editor.

With regard to the creation of the Crew, it can be composed of up to three players, each with unique functions and roles. The members of the Crew may be:

• Helm : the ship's helmsman, in charge of piloting the space vessel;
• Gunner : the weapons man, who will control the various cannons and damaging instruments of the vessel;
• Fighter : assigned also to the offensive, but that unlike the Gunner, will drive a small Shuttle, which can separate from the main vessel, then riattraccare once the threat has ended;

In addition, the DLC will allow players to customize at will his alter-ego, thus shaping the physical appearance and his uniform through a versatile editor.

As icing on the cake, Frontier has released another video, far more disturbing. By the time the players suspected the presence of extra-terrestrial life forms in the game, also due to anomalies and mysterious sightings from the players. Frontier has decided to put the cards on the table: alien life forms roam the Galaxy in the game. The origin and their intent, as well as the appearance, are shrouded in mystery.
