The latest issue of Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu revealed that Xun You will be a playable character in Dynasty Warriors 9 . The fighter will be voiced by Kenji Hamada and will use a steel whip like weapon. The magazine revealed the return of some older officers and their weapons:

• Xiahou Yuan – twin Sticks
• Lu user hint – sword and shield
• Daqiao – twin Fans
• Xiaoqiao fastener – twin Fans
• Zhuge Liang – war fan
• Zhang Fei – Launches

Dynasty Warriors 9 is in development for Xbox One PS4 and lacks a launch window.
