Michel Ancel and others responsible for the development of Beyond Good & Evil 2 played last night direct to update fans on developments of the game. The entire recording is visible here , but does not show much new on the title; What's interesting, though, are a few information revealed during the live broadcast.

The first relates to the fact that the game's story takes place earlier than seen in the first BG & E, so as to have a ' clean ' reboot of the franchise without that players have to worry about playing the first track. In the game there will still be many references to people and places that fans of the first title will struggle not to recognize, and it seems that in the new history there will also be a place for Jade, the girl protagonist of the first game.

The other interesting information is related to the fact that the game will have some kind of multiplayer mode that will allow players to connect with each other to perform various activities together. It is not clear now if we are talking about a mode disconnected from the main story, something more integrated as Watch Dogs or raids by far.
