Activision and Sledgehammer Games have released a new trailer for Call of Duty: WWII which presents the Zombie map The Darkest Shore , included in the DLC Pack 1 "The Resistance". The Darkest Shore follows our intrepid Heroes into the next chapter of their dangerous and terrifying journey into the Nazi zombies mode.

A few days after the disaster of Mittelburg, the group arrives on an island enveloped by fog and filled with occult history. Naval base vital to the axis, the island is surrounded by air and naval forces, and, of course, is crawling with the undead.

Marie, Drostan, Olivia and Jefferson should fight against the legions of zombies ready for war, and survive the airstrikes, machine Gunners and naval artillery of the Nazis. While waves of thick fog enveloping the island, the Group should strategically plan stealth attacks, melee ones and those with firearms, in order to avoid the horrors that lurk in the fog.

Fortunately, the group will have powerful new tools at its disposal. At Mittelburg, our heroes have learned to combine the normal weapons at enigmatic new energies of the undead, with lethal results. Now, they're going to need all the help we can get, because Straub hid other secrets in the humid roots of this island. New dangers, new traps and undead monsters, who are smarter, quicker and even more bloodthirsty than before.

In addition to The Darkest Shore, the DLC The Resistance will offer three new multiplayer maps (Occupation, Valkyrie and Anthropoid) and a new mission objectives of the War, Operation Intercept mode.
