EA: Battlefield V has the microtransactions, but only for cosmetic items

It seems that EA has learned the hard lesson of Star Wars: Battlefront II , with users ' complaints about pay-2-win nature of the game and subsequent removal (return in a more harmless) of microtransactions. The Publisher has announced that the new FPS SAYS Battlefield V will have microtransactions to purchase in-game currency for real money, but these will be used solely for the purchase of cosmetic customizations for our soldiers.

One of the novelties of the game is in fact a strong aesthetic character customization, and new items and customization possibilities are acquirable through both a currency obtained by playing the title, either through a premium currency sold in digital stores. EA then follows the path of other titles such as Assassin's Creed: Origins , which while including the microtransactions don't use them to modify the game experience but only to change the appearance of characters.

For now it does not explain how many and which will be aesthetic customizations available in the game: we'll find out soon, probably during the EA games before E3.
