The authors of Mad Max and Just Cause , Avalanche Studios, today announced the development of Generation Zero , a cooperative survival game open world coming in 2019. Set in the countryside of Sweden of 1980, the game will survive on their own or accompanied by three friends online to an invasion of terrible war machines.

The completely open world game will show off a full day/night cycle and realistic graphics engine of the study, the Apex Engine, along with an accurate simulation of ballistic projectiles. The gameplay will adopt guerrilla tactics and stealth: attacking frontally the mechanical enemies of the game will never be a good idea.
