It's been almost a year since Koei Tecmo announced Nioh 2 at the Sony conference at E3 2018, and since then nothing has been known about it. Today the Japanese study breaks the silence with a surprise trailer that reveals for the first time the gameplay of the game, and announcing the arrival of a Closed Alpha to allow a lucky few to test the title.

Closed Alpha will take place from 24 May to 2 June and involve a "limited set of players"; but it was not revealed how we could try to participate.
