EA had already anticipated in February that this year we would see a new Need forSpeed, and it looks like the announcement will take place in two days, on August 14; This is in fact the date to which points a countdown page just appeared on the site of the famous motoring franchise.

It is therefore likely that EA will prepare to announce the game a few days ahead of the gamescom in Cologne, expected from 19 August, and then show us more of the game precisely on the occasion of the German event.
