Bandai Namco today introduces us to a new trailer for Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris,the action game set in the world of SOA coming on May 22. The film focuses on the game's systems, such as combat, and history, illustrating the main features of the title via Italian subtitles.

Bandai explains that, following the plot of the anime, Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris will allow players to experience the arc "Alicization" through Kirito's eyes. At the end of the battle of the Central Cathedral, fans will be able to try out a new story,"Alicization Lycoris",created exclusively for the game.

In addition, the new "Tactic Emulating AI System" feature will encourage players to create and try new synergies with their partners. In fact, it will allow partners to store certain commands and use them independently based on the player's situation and demands (for example, attack or defense).

In online mode,players can customize their appearance and explore the Underworld with their avatar. Through multiplayer mode, up to 4 players can fight together bringing their partners, for a total of 8 characters!

The trailer also introduces three other playable characters from the Integrity Knights:

• Bercouli: one of the founders of the village of Rulid and a ruthless swordsman, his "Time-Cutting Sword" gives him the ability to cut time. He can trade his sword for a claymore mine, dealing a lot of damage, but injuring the player at the same time, making it a very powerful but also risky weapon.
• Linel and Fizel:two members of the Integrity Knights. The deadly duo perfected their murder art skills when they were exposed to the Administrator's experiments. Both fight using a dagger, benefiting from its high mobility to destabilize their opponents and take over in air combat.

Finally, the trailer unveils three new maps that players can explore: Treitis Pass, Minelda Rocks and Deusoldort Desert.
