Deep Silver reminds us that Sam's Storyis available today, Metro Exodus's new DLC that puts us in the shoes of former Marine Sam, a Spartan Ranger who has worked under Colonel Miller since the nuclear devastation of Moscow and followed Artyom in search of a world off the subway.

Sam had long dreamed of returning home and perhaps finding his father alive. The prospect seemed impossible in the dark subway tunnels, but when the Spartans discovered that Moscow was not the only city left alive after the war, having hope was no longer so foolish. After finding a way back to theUnited States, Sam set off from the Aurora to make his way through the vladivostok tsunami-ravaged ports, ruined industrial buildings, and dilapidated neighborhoods. However, to complete his journey, Sam will discover that he needs every tactic he has learned so far to survive, as his surroundings prove to be much more hostile than expected.

Sam's Story introduces a sandbox survival component to the game, allowing us to experience new adventures in a huge non-linear environment that offers several hours of gameplay.
