Ubisoft today announced that on March 3rd a new major expansion of The Division 2 entitled Warlords of New York (New York Generals)will be available for purchase by the owners of the game, while those who have yet to purchase the title will be able to directly take the new Standard and Ultimate editions that will already include the expansion.

To play Warlords of New York you will need to have reached level 20 in the game, but the expansion itself will include a level 30 upgrade that players can activate whenever they want. The expansion will add a new great playable map, New York precisely (with districts different from those visited in the first episode of the series), with a new dedicated campaign; After finishing this campaign, players will be able to travel freely between Washington DC and New York to continue all the missions left outstanding.

While the division was busy securing Washington DC, a familiar shadow lay on the streets of New York. Aaron Keener, one of the division's early antagonists and the first traitor agent in history, has brought the New York factions under him, using them to take control of Lower Manhattan.
