Today came the new big update of Destiny 2, The Queen of Whispers, and with it also came the new season of the game entitled Season of the Reborn. To celebrate its launch, Bungie has released a new trailer that shows us the content that we will find inside.

In the Season of the Reborn we will collaborate with Caiatl, Empress of the Cabals, to foil Savathûn's plans and defeat hordes of Hive units endowed with Light that threaten humanity and the solar system.

The season includes:

• PsiOp battlefields. Guardians will locate and capture the lieutenants of the shiny hive present in the solar system. Then, thanks to the help of Caiatl's most trusted psionics, they will enter the psychoworld, a psychic plane where thoughts manifest themselves as physical reality. Neutralize the shining hive and capture Savathûn's lieutenants to proclaim victory.
• Seasonal product: Lancia Sinaptica. The Synaptic Spear uses Caiatl's technology to suppress Light. Penetrate the minds of the hive and break their connection with the Light. Upgrade your spear to access powerful new changes and customize your playstyle.
• Exotic enterprise. Investigate anti-Caiatl psionic propaganda that originates from a bunker on Mars and unlock the exotic dead Messenger grenade launcher. This rear-loading grenade launcher releases three energy waves on contact with the ground and can change elemental damage with recharging, just like the exotic Dura Luce and Borealis.
