After the anticipation of today's Nikkei newspaper, arrives today the official confirmation by Hideo Kojima himself: the new development studio will be named exactly as when it was in Konami, namely Kojima Productions , and the purpose of the team — which includes many of former staffers--is to " expand the boundaries of innovation and stimulate consumer interest ".

The study and Sony have also announced that the first title developed by reborn KojiPro will be an exclusive PS4: for now we do not know what kind belong: it could be a new stealth game, could decide to resume the project Silent Hills/P.T. with Del Toro and Reedus, could be a title for PlayStation VR or it could be something totally different. Obviously we will update you as soon as there will be news about.

Kojima presents us with the new studio through a touching Declaration of intent, that we present below translated into Italian:

From the moment we come into this world,
