Naughty Dog and Sony have announced that all the maps and multiplayer post-launch of the upcoming Uncharted 4: End of a thief will be totally free and then released without charge. Also, all items available in the store in-game-like those with purely aesthetic purposes-will be unlocked by spending "relics", a sort of in-game currency can be obtained simply by playing.

Everything according to the team should ensure that the community can become fragmented due to different multiplayer DLC. The plan for publication of the latter represents a completely new direction undertaken by the studio, taking the form of a choice that could involve many months the entire multiplayer community.

Uncharted 4: End of a thief will debut exclusively on PlayStation 4 starting next May 10; the first additional content will be released during the summer.
