Sega and Koch Media has finally announced that Yakuza 0 , the episode that tells us about the past of some of the characters of the famous series, will arrive in our physical and digital stores on PlayStation 4 January 24, 2017; the PS3 Edition, which was published in Japan, will not be published on Western markets. The game will be localized in English subtitles, while for speech will be maintained as the original in Japanese.

Yakuza 0 tells the origin of the stories of Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima, and Goro Majima, before it becomes the rabid dog by Shimano, as they fight, cheat, joke and dance in their path through the decadent underbelly of Japan. Set in a chilly but electrifying Kamurocho, Tokyo in December 1988, Kiryu's story follows its continued rise in the ranks of one of the yakuza clan, the crime family of Dojima, until gets blamed for a failed for a debt.

Kiryu has to use all his Guile and his strength to regain his honor and save the reputation of his father, Shintaro Kazama. Meanwhile, Goro Majima is managing a famous cabaret in Osaka, but what he wants more than anything is to rejoin the yakuza clan who drove out. Must complete a series of impossible tasks imposed by its leaders but these assignments will push Majima beyond the point of no return?
