As stated by Cory Barlog, game director for the new and highly anticipated God of War under development for PS4, it seems that the developers did not plan to release any demo version pre-launch for the new adventure of Kratos.

The game director has answered the question of a user on Twitter asking if it was a demo version before the game's release, stating in this connection that "the team is working hard to the development of the game and does not have enough time to devote to any demo, which would require a working time of one to two months and then would slip the period out of the final version of the game."

Barlog also revealed "we're still trying to figure out when we can release the game, because we want to make sure you release the title completion finalised and therefore without any compromise."

As for the graphic quality of the game, game director has reassured fans stating that "you won't need a PS4 Pro in order to receive a satisfactory graphical experience, as the game will work fine even on a normal PS4".
