Sucker Punch released today some new information that they explain the various improvements that inFamous: Second Son and inFamous: First Light will show on PS4 Pro. These improvements, which can be divided into two major additions (the HDR and 4 k resolution), will be introduced through a free software update that will allow the game to take advantage of the additional power of PS4 Pro.

This patch, when combined with a compatible TV with HDR, makes it all the more dazzling. That's right: now the sky and the Sun appear brighter, reaching contrast levels significantly higher than before. The intensity of the sky and lightning bolts create breathtaking Visual gashes. Also, this function can be used even on standard PS4 anyone who owns a TV compatible with HDR.

The second improvement lies in the small details: signs, coffee mugs, puddles, dry leaves ... The game world is full of minutiae to be discovered. The increase of resolution up to 4 k of PS4 Pro makes these details even more defined. You notice details about bricks and placards before they passed unnoticed.

However, the graphics will appear more defined even if you don't own a TV, given that PS4 Pro scale the image to fit your screen 1080 p.
