Exact two weeks since its launch, Horizon: Zero Dawn has reached 2.6 million copies sold worldwide . News is the same as Sony , specifying that this number includes both physical copies that digital copies can be purchased directly from the Playstation Store to PS4.

The Japanese company also claimed that this result represents a record: Horizon: Zero Dawn until now was in fact the IP for PS4 which sold more copies overall.

The ceo of G uerrilla Games , Hermen Hulst, commented the news:

"We are thrilled that our new IP has been received very favourably by critics and by players. Development of the game has been a hard but beautiful work, so it is extremely satisfying for us to see that such a pleasure you find yourself even among our fans. "

Finally, Hulst has confirmed that the team is already working on a new expansion for the story mode of the game, though, at least for now, were not disclosed further details.
