We are excited to publish the new PlayStation Store downloadable content Dragon of the North. Many of you will surely be eager to embark on new adventures and challenges Nioh. We look forward to being able to accommodate from 2 May.
The next chapter takes us back as William, having restored peace in Japan. To continue the tradition, even the main character of this new chapter is based on the history and Japanese legends: is inspired indeed to Lord Date Masamune, the head of the Sendai fief in Keicho era (about 400 years ago).
Because of his personality and the events for which it is known, we considered the ideal character to join our title. Masamune is a well-known historical figure, a brilliant and ruthless in equal measure.
Although he was an outstanding leader, was blinded by ambition and thirst for power. Became known as governess impulsive, arrogant and convinced of his superiority in front of anyone, although he was always devoted to his land and his subjects. We found this contradictory aspect of his personality a perfect feature to create a memorable character and a formidable adversary for William.
Northern Dragon is set in the region of Oshu, ruled by the ambitious Date Masamune, also known as the "one-eyed Dragon". Just when peace seemed to be back in Japan, thanks to your efforts in the main campaign ... spread the news that the one-eyed Dragon is collecting in secret spirit stones, heralding new conflicts and instability.
Get ready to challenge once again death: await new terrifying Yokai and other fearsome adversaries in a series of exciting fights.
But fear not, there are exciting new ways to hold off your enemies: Guardian Spirits, armor, ninja skills and an unusual weapon named Odachi. Finally, we are pleased to present the long-awaited PvP *, an exciting new addition to the gaming experience.
