Warning: the latest update of R6: Siege corrupts the harddrive of PS4 causing the error CE-36329-3

We warn you of a problem that many users have begun to PS4 report from yesterday. Ubisoft has released a new update of Rainbow Six: Siege that has a serious problem: after you install the update and start the game, the part of the console disk that hosts the friends list is corrupted, and whenever you open the list friends the system will crash with error CE-36329-3 , forcing you to restart the console. From then on the friends list and other social features of the console are no longer usable, regardless of the game started.

In some cases, thankfully rarer, the problem causes the entire console, preventing the start of any game due to a crash on the main screen of the operating system.

Sony has announced that they are already aware of this issue, but currently, no solution exists: the only advice is, for now, to avoid downloading the update until the thing is resolved or until Ubisoft didn't retire, which will hopefully take place in times short. If your console has already downloaded, do not start the game . If you haven't already started, absolutely do not invite friends while the game is running. The safest thing you still avoid starting the game, and the problem should not arise.

To fix this problem we suggest you keep your eye on the Twitter account of PlayStation support , which should explain how to fix once investigated more thoroughly, and this topic on Reddit that will be updated as there will be What's new. We will update you as soon as we know more. Stay tuned!
