EA has released the launch trailer for Plants vs Zombies: The Battle of Neighborville, a new installment in the Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare saga, and reminds us that the now-famous zombie and plant shooter will be available on PlayStation 4 in physical and digital stores starting October 18.

Here are the main features of the game:

• Customize all characters for battle. Join the all-new flowering of the age-old plant-zombie battle with 20 fully customizable classes since launch, including one team-playing class for each faction. Take advantage of each class's unique abilities in the six PvPmodes, including the new Battle Arena,and experience the evergreen thrill of combat.
• Venture to the edge of Neighborville. Tension pervades the entire earth with free-exploring regions and a PvE mode extending beyond Neighborville'sborders. Team up with up to three friends in the social region of Divertilandia and recapture Bislacco Woods, Mount Craggy and the city center of Neighborville. It's flowering time!
• Play with whoever you want, in every mode. Join forces with other players to experience the local shared screen in co-op in any mode. Connect with up to three players and fight in lush, free-exploring regions, or jump into the fray with up to 24 players in the online multiplayer in a giant suburban battle.
