Square Enix today announced the sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake; it will be called Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and the Japanese studio has confirmed that it is the second in a trilogy, with the third episode still unnamed. As with the previous episode, this one will also be PS5 exclusive.

For now there are no other details about the game, but the announcement trailer has been released: here it is below.
