Sony announced today that the new 4.0 upgrade to PS4 will come to those who had registered for the beta from tomorrow, finally revealing all new features in the update. These include the requested organization in folders, but much else: keep reading.

These all new features in the new console update:

• Interface Update -have been made several improvements to the interface of PS4 as new backgrounds, an area the new slightly revised and redesigned icons. This should give the interface a fresher and finished.
• Quick Menu -the menu that now pops up while pressing the button on the DualShock PlayStation 4 has now been enhanced with the addition of many more features and will not cover over the entire screen, leaving part of the running game is visible in the background. On the Menu you can now see at a glance the online status of friends, access groups, communities, and so on. It is also customizable, allowing you to add and remove items that we want.
• Share Menu -the menu that is opened by pressing the Share button of the controller has been revised; as for the Quick Menu, this now will not cover over the whole screen and also will save the last social networks used for sharing so that riproporcelo as default choice. You can also now upload longer videos on Twitter: from 10 seconds will pass in 140 seconds.
• Organizing into folders -will finally be possible to create folders to organize all the games we have installed on the console, so that you can manage them more easily without having to scroll through a list of 10 or 20 titles.
• Card purchases --will now be introduced a new area that will show all the games and DLC purchased but not downloaded, so that we can have an eye on all our content for later possibly reinstall.
• Trophies -now you can see the offline trophies, and you will be able to reveal the contents of the hidden trophies if we want it.
• User profile -user profile page also has been improved, making it easier to see at a glance the information on other players, with the addition of a useful feature for comparing trophies.

For now, the update will be available only in beta and there is still no release date: we will update you as soon as we know more.
