Versus Evil announced today that Armikrog will be released for the PlayStation 4 next week, and more precisely on 23 August . Armikrog is a retro game made in stop motion using plasticine. This means that each frame is manufactured using the stop motion capture — photographing scenarios and characters entirely in clay, wood, paper, wire and many other different materials!

" Every single level and every single character present in Armikrog was physically realized in our small studio, where we basically conveyed the entire game in fact, scene by scene: an immense work. " He said the study, continuing " with the help of incredible seiyūs such as Jon Heder ( Napoleon Dynamite), Rob Paulsen (Pinky with Prof.) and Michael j. Nelson (Mystery Science Theater 3000 ) and the brilliant musician Terry Scott Taylor, who created the soundtrack for the game, plus a volunteer team of industry experts, we were able to create characters nothing short of amazing . "

" Although it was tough, it was worth it. Stop motion is a passion of Pencil Test Studios for years: is an art form and we hope you will enjoy this adventure alongside heroes Tommynaught and Beak Beak . "

" When we started working on the PlayStation version 4, we wanted to incorporate in controls the touchpad of the DUALSHOCK 4 because it provides better control than the traditional controller. With the help of Grip Digital we managed it and now you can use the touch pad in very original ways. You can use it to point normally, and thus have maximum freedom of movement, but you can also use instead of paddle shifters or the direction keys to solve some puzzles. This makes it even more fun solving puzzles, since you have the feeling of moving into the environment even as we are dedicated to this task. " concluded Versus Evil.

Looking forward to seeing the game inaction, we leave you with a set of pictures that show us the creation of game characters: enjoy!
