Hideo Kojima continues to drop, albeit in dribs and drabs, new information about Death Stranding , the new open-world title having starring Norman Reedus (Daryl of The Walking Dead) being developed for PS4. The Japanese author reveals today that the game will introduce a "new type" of cooperative, but will still be playable entirely in single.

As for the release date of the game, it looks like we'll have to wait a lot: Kojima has explained that the game will come before the Tokyo Olympics of 2020, and while this clearly leaves the door open to the possibility that comes out even in the years before that date, we must consider that the development of the game has not yet begun : the team has just decided what engine to use (but not disclose), and then the development activity will start right now.
