The independent publisher Ripstone Games announced today the development by studio Dan Smith Studios in The Spectrum Retreat , first-person puzzle game whose prototype is worth to the creator, Dan Smith, a prominent BAFTA at the age of 18 years, in 2016.

Since then Smith has developed and evolved the concept, become now a trial game expected by the end of 2018. The Spectrum Retreat we explore the mysterious hotel The Penrose, solving ingenious puzzles based on colors and on physics, and discovering the history of the structure. As well as puzzles, the game will focus on exploratory element of the strange hotel and the narration of the story that its walls hide.
