Sony: this year the PlayStation Experience will not be built, a few novelties to show

The head of Sony Entertainment Wolrldwide Studios, Shawn Layden, announced today that the usual end-of-year event for PlayStation fans, always full of new ads, the PlayStation Experience , this year they will.

Layden explained that this year would have had too few new products to be presented at the event-basically just Dreams and Sorrows , and then preferred not to organise the event to avoid disappointing the expectations of fans.

Suspension of the event aside, this ad tells us that, for the same reasons, probably Sony will not even his usual French fair Paris Games Week Conference, expected by the end of October, but so far there have been no announcements.

An interesting note is also concerning securities quoted by Layden: why does not mention The Last of Us 2 , Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding , the most anticipated console exclusive? Possible that these titles there is nothing new to show at an event like this? Some speculate that Sony is starting to retain the ads for a revelation of PS5 2019, and that these titles at E3 will be moved onto the new console (or, as we most likely will be on PS4 on PS5).

We'll keep you updated if they emerge more news.
