Warner Bros. Games and TT Games have good news for fans of the DC universe: the release of LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight's Legacy has in fact been brought forward by a week, with the new date set for May 22nd.

The title is presented as a new and vast open world adventure, which will invite us to closely follow the steps of Bruce Wayne on his path to become the protector of Gotham City. During the adventure we will find hints and inspirations taken from decades of comics, films, TV series and video games dedicated to the Batman, all seasoned with the classic and unmistakable irony that characterizes LEGO productions.

Pre-orders for the game are already open for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions. By opting for the latter, we will get 72-hour early access that will allow us to start foiling crimes in Gotham as early as May 19. In addition to this advantage, the Deluxe Edition will guarantee us at launch the costume inspired by the cult comic "The Dark Knight Returns", as well as including future DLCs of the game arriving from September 2026.

Finally, the developers have provided an additional bonus for players: by registering or linking a WB Games account, we will be able to unlock the "Golden Age" costume from day one, a tribute to the very first Batman costume that appeared on the pages of Detective Comics n°27 of 1939.
