During the Summer Game Fest, Telltale and co-publisher PM Studios officially unveiled the future of one of the most beloved narrative sagas of the last decade. The announcement confirmed not only the arrival of The Wolf Among Us 2 for 2027, but also the return to the origins with The Wolf Among Us Remastered, due out later this year. Both titles mark the great return of the famous Sheriff Bigby Wolf and the world of Fabletown.

To warm up the engines in view of the sequel, at the end of this year we will be able to get our hands on the 2013 masterpiece again. The Wolf Among Us Remastered will not be a simple port, but a completely rebuilt and perfected edition for modern platforms. Throughout the original five episodes, we will have to investigate crimes, interrogate suspects and make difficult choices in a mature noir thriller where every decision counts. The title will enjoy enhanced visuals, updated animations and audio, as well as technical improvements for resolution and framerate, a renewed user interface and new accessibility options. To enrich the experience, there will be over an hour of extra content that includes behind-the-scenes videos, interviews with the cast, image galleries and deleted scenes.

Looking ahead, 2027 will be the year of The Wolf Among Us 2, which will continue the story inspired by Vertigo's popular Fables comic book series. Set after the events of the first chapter, the game will take us back to the dark streets of a Fabletown where fairy tale characters live hidden among humans in modern New York. With tensions rising and Snow White intent on maintaining order, we will have to face new forces ready to reshape the city's underworld. As Bigby Wolf, we will be drawn into a dangerous conspiracy that has its roots in the criminal underworld, having to discover the truth and decide what kind of sheriff, and wolf, we want to be.
