007 First Light: a new trailer reveals the rules of espionage
The trailer highlights how we will be able to approach the different situations by focusing first of all on the ability to camouflage ourselves in the environment. We'll have to explore different areas to infiltrate, fooling security guards or eavesdropping on enemy conversations to get valuable information. To move without being detected, we will have several stealth options, including silent takedowns and parkour-style acrobatic courses to penetrate enemy structures.
However, bluffing won't always be enough, and that's where preparation comes in. Between missions, we'll be able to talk to our allies and gather details to plan the next move. In this context, the gadget laboratory takes on a central role, where we will be able to equip ourselves with technological tools such as the Q-Lens, the Q-Watch, the Dart Phone and the Smoke Pod. These tools will prove to be essential especially against some types of enemies with heavy armor, which will require a reasoned approach and the correct use of the equipment at our disposal.
When the situation becomes critical, we will be able to count on the ability to improvise and the use of force. We will have the opportunity to use the surrounding environment to our advantage, throwing objects, jumping over obstacles or pushing enemies against dangerous elements of the scenario. Of course, we will have license to kill and we will be able to resort to firearms, also taking advantage of the Focus ability that will allow us to slow down time for a few moments so as to score precision shots.
Finally, the trailer introduces us to the Tac Sim, a tactical simulation that we can use to test our skills against other users and earn experience points necessary to unlock upgrades. The developers have already confirmed that this mode will be constantly updated with new content over time, offering new challenges even after completing the main campaign.
We leave you to the video: enjoy!
